The Criminal Justice Team at the Cambridge Centre provides a number of specialist schemes for people with both drug or alcohol problems and involvement in the criminal justice system with the overarching aim of reducing probleDIP front officem alcohol / drug use to reduce crime. 

 We want to take away the need to commit crime in the first place by helping people deal with their drug or alcohol problems:  Pointing a link out between substance misuse and crime is not anything very new.  What makes our team special is that it can offer a wide range of both drug and alcohol services to people involved in the criminal justice system.  This can be voluntary or court enforced, this can be in the community or in prison, this can be individually or in a group environment, this is good for the individual and good for communities.
