Cambridge Centre Dug & Alcohol Youth Service (DAYS) offers  a range of services for
young people up to the age of 18.  The service is aimed at young people  who have issues with drugs or alcohol or are affected by someone else’s drug or alcohol use. Clients are offered appointments at our Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale offices and the workers are also active in several schools throughout the area.

The DAYS team currently consists of three workers who offer listening and support, counselling, brief interventions, advice and information and they also provide drug and alcohol education and awareness sessions in various schools and colleges.

All workers carry a caseload, attend case conferences and reviews and are significantly involved with many other services including: Social Services, Connexions, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, , Pupil Referral Unit, the Youth Justice Service, School Nurses, Housing Services and the YMCA .
